Proximity Alert System – V-Scan® is a bespoke Proximity Alert Scanning system developed by ViC Group primarily for powered machinery working in sensitive environments such as aerospace maintenance facilities.

This unobtrusive system constantly scans a pre-configured area and has 3 fully customised size ‘alert zones’ which provide increasing visual and audible warning alerts when an object is detected.

While the V-Scan proximity system has been designed with care & consideration, it should not be considered completely fool-proof for every circumstance, not the least because the scanning zones are horizontal.  It is a 2 dimensional system, designed as an operator aid ONLY, it does not relieve the operator from being personally competent & spatially alert.  Regular checks should be carried out by the operator to ensure the zones are operating to the required parameters and if any changes are noted, the system should be serviced and reset before further use.  Please note that this system is not fail safe and ViC Group cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred to third party/hirer’s property howsoever it occurs
