Cembre Rail Track Drill – Both the petrol driven LD-1P and electric driven LD-2E rail drills from Cembre have been specifically designed for use in railway applications providing consistently accurate work whatever the weather conditions. Compact in size, these drills afford considerable time savings by allowing direct operation in cases which previously have entailed armament removal. Special twist drills can be used for hole diameters from 7 to 22mm on rails up to 45mm in thickness and broach cutters for 13 to 32mm hole diameters on rails up to 50mm thick.

Each model is provided with a coolant system consisting of a reservoir and pump which is connected via a quick release coupler arrangement. Both units are lightweight and ideally suited for one-man operation.
